“How to Make Impact” Event in the Netherlands

Success factors and building blocks for successful Erasmus + projects were the focus of the Erasmus + “How to Make Impact” event that took place on 10 December 2019 in Media Plaza in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

During the event, 200 guests from all education sectors and the youth sector discussed overarching themes for creating impact with Erasmus +.

iExpress Myself was one of the five good practices that were presented during this event. Marcelis Boereboom, general director of Higher Education, Vocational Education, Science and Emancipation (of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science), closed the Event Erasmus+ and called the project iExpress Myself a wonderful example of mutual impact through social inclusion of students with disabilities. “Such projects contribute to the power of Erasmus+ and are the best proof of why the program is so important to Europe.”

Erasmus+ spoke with Aukje Snijders (European Program Manager) and Miriam van Hees (coordinator of special education / project leader iExpress II) of Royal Visio about the impact of the project. Watch the video below and get inspired!
